CeraVe Acne Control Cleanser is a gel-to-foam face wash that cleans and treats acne in one step. Its 2% salicylic acid works inside clogged pores to clear acne, reduce blackheads and improve the look of pores, while hectorite clay absorbs excess oil to help skin look less shiny.

Beyond the acid and clay, the formula adds niacinamide to calm skin, plus three essential ceramides and hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid to support the barrier, leaving skin soft, smooth and hydrated after washing. It is made for acne-prone, oily skin and is the US formula, developed with dermatologists. It is fragrance-free, paraben-free, non-comedogenic and allergy-tested.

How to use
  1. Use every morning and evening. Shake the bottle well before use.
  2. Wet your face, then work a dime-size amount into a lather.
  3. Gently massage onto your face, avoiding the eye area.
  4. Rinse well.
  5. In the morning, follow with a moisturizer with broad-spectrum sunscreen, because this cleanser can increase your skin's sun sensitivity.
  6. Using another topical acne medication at the same time makes irritation and dryness more likely. If irritation occurs, use only one topical acne medication at a time.
  7. For external use only.
